Why don’t they just demand it from the NSA? Surely they have it all, including Trump’s colluding with Putin. LOL.

Why? Because it’s all bull shit designed to deceive the American people.
They can't demand it from The NSA. It's against the law. Not only is it a National Security Issue, it is a Separation of Powers Issue, and an Executive Privilege Issue.

Remember when The Obama Administration leaked Conversations of President Elect Trump with Mexico, Australia, and Thailand heads of state? That was a Felony, and a violation of The Espionage Act.

Someone should have went to jail for that.

Someone Leaked Classified Transcripts Of Trump’s Phone Calls With Foreign Leaders

The Reason The Left, and some RINO Globalists on The Right are continuing their witch hunt and harassment of The President is because he opposes Globalism, opposes dissolving our National Borders, Asserts our Sovereign and Constitutional Rights to negotiate Trade Deals and Treaties independent of The so called "world order."

He opposes Open Borders, and The Globalists want Open Borders so they can flood The United States with people who will import foreign ideologies opposed to American Constitutional Sovereignty and Nationalism. They want to use them as their own private army to create Social and Political Change in America and Transform America in to a third world Socialist Equivalent Society devoid of Individualism, Upward Mobility, and Individual Initiative.

30,000 people were arrested last month trying to Invade The United States. The Left claims that 30,000 people a month flying foreign flags, with allegiances to their countries, to ISIS, to Jihad, to Socialism at ALL COST is not an Invasion?

How is almost half a million illegals a year that we can actually catch NOT an INVASION?
There are more coming here than we are projected to apprehend which is nearly 400,000 this year. Twice that many or more are flooding the border that we cannot catch, so the number apprehended plus those who successfully invade the US is actually about 1 million illegals a year.

500,000 American Soldiers Fought in Desert Storm, yet our borders are being flooded by that many Illegals at a minimum EVERY YEAR THAT WE CAN CATCH.

And The LEFT not only invites them here, they give them sanctuary, and then want The American Taxpayer to provide $150 Billion Federal Tax Dollars a year to support them.
That is just a starting point. The cost to The Economy, Social Services, Strains on Safety Forces, Law Enforcement, Insurance Costs, etc. etc. is much greater overall.

The Left Wants Illegal Immigrants counted in The Census. They want them to be able to get Welfare, Food Stamps, Free Education, Free Housing, Free Medical Care, and a Guaranteed Income all at The Taxpayer's Expense.

Again, Imagine EVERY YEAR an Invading Force the Size of the one we gathered for Desert Storm.

How is that NOT AN INVASION?

Are they trying to Bankrupt Our Social Safety Net?

Why is it a good idea to throw Grandma over the cliff and give her Social Services Dollars to a bunch of Bad Hombres who never paid in to the system?

The House has NO STANDING to demand any tapes notes or testimony from the President or any of his staff or personnel working with him on Diplomacy. NONE NADA ZIPPO. It is called separation of powers the house has no authority in regards diplomatic meetings conversations between heads of State or anything regarding specific powers delegated by the Constitution to the President and NOT delegated to the House. Diplomacy is the power granted by the Constitution to the President and his assigned diplomats. The ONLY part of Congress that has any say in diplomacy is the Senate in its capacity to advice and consent on treaties.

Wrong. The House is the oversight branch of the President. It's called the system of checks and balances and is the most fundamental part of the U.S. government.

That's twice you've been wrong in this thread so far.
I am not wrong the House has NO authority over diplomacy you fucking retard.

Of course that is false, and you just made it up. The president can attempt to stonewall these requests by citing executive privilege, but it is not guaranteed to stand up.

Top Democrats demand interviews with translators, interpreters at private Trump-Putin meetings

Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Eliot Engel, and Oversight Committee chairman Elijah Cummings said they wanted to know whether any Trump-Putin communications had led to the "reconsideration, modification, or implementation" of any aspect of American foreign policy. Top Democrats demand interviews with translators, interpreters at private Trump-Putin meetings
I apologize if the answers in your heart are not known to me. Please tell what you think in your words how this kind of an issue should be solved. If you change your mind, you may. You have seven days to vote. I have checked that you may check 2 options below. Your vote will remain anonymous unless you wish to tell others how you voted. That's up to you, and thank you for viewing this thread.

I barely give a shit.

I am just hoping Trump doesn't start a war (like with Venezuela to 'liberate' them) so he gets the boot in 2020 and we can go back to POTUS's who are corrupt and useless...but intelligent and are not manchildren.

Having copies of notes from a fucking meeting ISN'T doing diplomacy dipshit. The house also has a foreign affairs committee where they do talk to people of other countries.

Do you not understand the subject in this thread?

Oh but it’s ok to demand Hillary’s personal emails ?

More righty hypocrisy.
the emails were government emails on a private server, and a crime. Now you name the crime and I'm good with going after trump. name it.

What does separations of powers have to do with it

The whole deadlock on the government shutdown was because Trump did not respect the right of the senate to control the purse. He certainly wasn't respecting separation of powers

To the matter. congress has the power to investigate especially when laying the groundwork for impeachment

Trump had a secret meeting with Putin

what security issues are there

public has a right to know and that is what transparency is

The people have a right to hold trump accountable and to know if the president is corrupt

Yet trump wrap this meeting in secrecy and did not have his aides present except for a translator. He confiscated all the tapes. He put this on himself. If there is nothing to hide why the secrecy. We already know that they were trying to establish back door channels with Russia.

Why

The cold war is over. Militarily we don't have joint exercises or form alliances in conflicts at this present time

Trump has secrets that he wants them to remain hidden. IF he is innocent then he has nothing to worry about

Innocent until proven guilty

They have no grounds for impeachment. They just wasted 200 million dollars that taxpayers footed the bill for to get Donald Trump. The reason they did not get him is because he did not collude with anyone and they well knew it. They only brought forth gushing all these lies to win the Congress so they could further damage the credibility of the present Executive Branch so they could inflict socialism which would negate the Constitution to a relic pile.

You apparently do not know the protocols of the State Department. Get back to me when you understand what confidentiality in dealing with foreign government entails.

I guess you should be writing your congressman because this is where it is going

denial is not a defense

innocent until proven guilty is as American as apple pie

even as Trump spouts how Clinton should be in jail, he believe guilty until proven not guilty

Don't take a bite of that apple yet

We will ALL get to see what the President talked about in the end... after all, he and all Presidents, represent us Citizens of the USA... FOIAs (freedom of information act) will have them released to us, just like the Nixon personal tapes while in office and the Johnson tapes and the Kennedy tapes....

in time, if we live long enough, the American people will see and or hear them all.

This was a Summit, on our behalf, so we will get to see them, someday.

We usually do not have to wait that long to find out what our president was doing on our behalf in a Summit, or a meeting with another head of a Nation.......

President Trump is the only case I know of in my lifetime, where his Secretary of State or other Advisors for the President, were NOT present in the meetings between an adversary head of State and our President.... :dunno:

Why is it such a big deal, to want to know what they talked about, on the USA's behalf?

My question is why did the Democrats call for a special counsellor to review Russian collusion, and when his report came out, why didn't the Democrats read what it said.
FYI

There has been NO MUELLER REPORT that has come out yet...

Why do you think there has been?

He's not done yet, and no report has been released by him, to anyone?

I understand it perfectly you seem not to, Diplomacy is a direct POWER of the President and the Executive and the Senate is the check. The House has control of the purse strings and that is IT. They have no authority to interfere with the President in foreign affairs at all except in regards what money is spent.

Having the notes from a meeting isn't doing diplomacy dipshit and does not violate the separation of powers. What you are trying to say is "interfere" is actually oversight, which is their job under the system of checks and balances. What you should be asking yourself is WHY is Trump trying to have private meetings with Putin.

Congress checks the power of the president. This includes foreign affairs. they even have a committee called The Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Committees.

Congress supposedly declares war but it clears executive branch has got around that one. Still they must approval all treaties, ambassadors, and generally still control the funding of things such as foreign aid.

Again for the truly slow and amazingly STUPID, the HOUSE has no oversight per the Constitution in diplomacy, that is the Senate. The House controls the purse strings.

They have COMPLETE oversight of the acts of the President. Do you ever get tired of being wrong? The U.S. has a President, not a king. How the fuck did you get to be a Gunny and not know basic civics? What branch of Congress starts the impeachment process?
