It is difficult to gauge how people are regarding a destructive corruption of our election process. Those who believe they have won apparently think things are going to go back to normal as if nothing is wrong. Something is very wrong and no one has won anything.

Actually, the corruption is the process itself. Biden won by 7 million votes, and got the largest number of votes of any candidate in history. Period. Full Stop. The American people made their preference clear. You guys can't even go to your stand-by of blaming California (Which if you took out of the mix, Biden still won the other 49 states by 2 million votes) or illegals (even if every adult undocumented person voted, it wouldn't account for Biden's win).

In the next year, we will see the Covid vaccine distributed, people will go back to work and you will be amazed how people will suddenly realize they like not hearing "Did you read that crazy thing the President said on Twitter?"

The only thing we know for sure is that the power structure in America has decided that the Chinese model is the way to go. This Electoral College thing is just a meaningless formality like chemotherapy for a terminal cancer patient. Once trust in the vote is gone the whole thing will fall.

Actually, the electoral college is the problem. This election didn't come down to the 81 million people who decisively chose Biden over Trump, It came down to less than a quarter million votes in five swing states, then navigating a maze of courts, legislatures, faithless electors and congress. If this election has proven anything, it's proven that the current way we pick presidents is kind of messed up. The GOP has realized that it long ago lost the majority of Americans, and now has to use various tricks to maintain power.

That's when it stops being a choice about ideas and starts becoming about the gamesmanship.
