Hello "pro choice" people.

That's your idea of a response worthy of being said where other people can read it? "Yeah, life begins at conception, but then we kill it, so who cares?"

No wonder all of your so-called "responses" end with you laughing hysterically. I hear lunatics do that a lot.
Yes then we kill it.

And I am joined in that opinion by every civilized country on earth

I dont disagree actually

Uh huh. I'm sure that's what you want to tell yourself. You've just arbitrarily decided that THIS statement by a scientist is merely opinion for no reason whatsoever, certainly not because you're trying to justify being you.

Stick to lying to yourself. I'm not interested.

Well it is opinion. But I agree with it

I'm pro-life. Women were getting abortions pre RvW and they were being done by the same doctors that performed them post RvW. Why is this such a hard concept?

Are you at all familiar with Dr Bernard Nathanson? It might be a good read for you.
We know abortions occurred before Roe v. Wade. What we don’t know is how many more lives have been extinguished since Roe v. Wade made abortion an alleged “right” and put the imprimatur of our Constitution on the practice. But I doubt your claim that because the birth rate remained relatively consistent that it necessarily follows that the abortion rate did too.

I stand by my opinion...demon possessed.

It wasn't my claim but it's also really irrelevant to me.

One can draw the logical inference that it was, especially since most OB/GYNs at the time admitted they were performing illegal abortions and writing down something else on the charts.

You see, the thing was, the Court probably didn't think it was doing anything controversial in 1973. They were striking down laws that no one was obeying.

I'll give you a better example. We all know that prostitution is illegal in 49 states. Yet there are an estimated 3 million sex workers employed by massage parlors, escort services, strip clubs, or just working on line.

Sessions shut down Backpage but new websites have popped up to replace it.

So do you really think abortion was that hard to find in 1973. Of course it wasn't.

So how did we go from "Getting rid of a law that no one was obeying" to "Oh, my God, this is an important political issue!"

Well, we can thank the rise of the religious right. In 1976, three years after Roe, the GOP had a neutral position on Roe in their platform. Top Republicans like Geo. H. Bush supported abortion rights. But then the Evangelicals needed an issue to put asses back in pews. Before that, they didn't care about politics that much, and saw Abortion as a "Catholic" thing.

And this is where the GOP has pulled a fast one on you... Originally, the 7-2 majority on Roe consisted of 5 Republicans voting yes, and 1 voting no. Of the Republican appointees to the courts since Roe before the Orange Shitgibbon, more of them supported preserving Roe (Steven, O'Connor, Kennedy, Souter, Roberts) than overturning it (Scalia, Uncle Thomas, Alito).

The only reason we are here is Trump (who has probably paid for abortions himself), was too stupid to realize you need to maintain a balance and pandered to his radical base.

There is absolutely no proof that "most" did. Most do not even today.

It certainly depended where you were at.

The Hyde Amendment which was the first real challenge to RvW began in 1977. (No Federal funds for abortions)

Beautiful propaganda. Well done.

Yes, Hank was a fat ball of Hypocritical Catholicism.

My point stands... Abortion was overturned because the laws were routinely ignored, and only is an issue because of Religious bullshit.
That religious bullshit is a Constitutional right.

You are free to draw whatever inference you wish. But nothing you conclude changes the fact that abortions have been burdened with the stigma of an official US imprimatur.

The balance of your post is mere sophistry.

Given your inability to respond to in any meaningful way, I'd say damned effective.

That religious bullshit is a Constitutional right.
You totally have the right to grovel in front of your imaginary friend in the sky. What you don't have is the right to impose that on the rest of us.

Wow, it usually helps to know what big words mean before you try to use them.

There's no "stigma" attached to abortion because government got rid of laws that don't work.

The balance of your post is mere sophistry.
Again, duly noted that you guys can't refute a thing I say.
