Many great performances in many great films, but I am going to mention her lesser known turn as the frustrated mom in FOXES (1980) who is battling the aging process. RIP

'Where No Man Has Gone Before' was the second pilot. Later shown edited to fill in the first season while the first pilot was built into two more episodes as well.

You must be thinking of order of airing dates which has nothing to do with production order.

You'd have better luck trying to tell your own mother about how you never shit any diapers. :SMILEW~130:

Yeah, 3rd episode aired. Duh.

Sally was also good just before this in her two breakout roles in the Outer Limits in The Human Factor and The Belero Shield, both excellent sci-fiction.

The reason why episodes are sometimes aired our of production order was, in Star Trek's case, because of Spock's ears. NBC network was so afraid of shocking its audience with Spock's demonic looking ears after their bid to air brush them out of advertisements lead them to airing Production #6 The Man Trap (with the salt vampire) first in the Fall of 1966 because it minimized the audience's exposure to Spock and his ears.

The MASH series lasted longer than the war it represented. I always thought that the treatment of the Hot Lips character was over the line sexual harassment even back then and the characters Hawkeye and the other gonzo wouldn't have lasted a month in the real Military.
