At least, not in the U.S. Our founders clearly documented why they implemented government and it was not to “exist for the well being of the population” or the “planning and execution of food”. How tragic that you live in this great country and yet you are too lazy and too selfish to take the time to even understand why it was founded. It is your type of ignorance that is such an extreme danger to society.

So are saying the Declaration of Independence is meaningless as to what the founders had in mind for the new nation? If so, how about the Constitution?

I was not speaking specifically of the US government. I was speaking of the concept of government in general. The initial reasoning behind people organizing into larger than family groups.

You are absolutely correct. The US government was not instituted as you say. What I said is that it should have been. That the existence of government for the benefit of the people is the reasoning behind groupings of greater than family size. That it is to exist for the interactions of the needs of the society.

I suppose you grow your own food, sew your garments, build your shelter. Yes? No. Someone else did. You are probably someone who actually produces nothing. Your job, your subsistence, is dependent upon government planning and execution of food, clothing, shelter, etc. Your view is too narrow. I was thinking of government as a principal and as a practical application for the production of food, clothing, shelter.

When monarchies were the government, the role of government was to give the king and nobles great care of by government. When we the people became the government, the government began taking care of the people. As John Adams said,
