Its a bit early to say, we really don't know who the Republicans will be putting up, or if the candidate will even want the vote of the Trumpsters.

I can't see casting a vote for an ultramoderate Republican like Powell, or Romney or Sasse or Cheney, under any circumstances. Those folks are all devotees of Sleepy Joe,so I might as well vote for Biden if I like any of those folks.

The old we are all voting for several parties and may the best person win is not viable. Two parties with a semi disinterested voting bloc who see D and R. In the last 15 years or so Republican voters finally woke up. But for them they still are fed RINOS with some wanting them and others not knowing that is what they are. NEOCONS are bit less though at this point. The Tea Party of a decade ago or so was infected by the establishment Repubs and globalists. And some won but still were not put into office as election rules were suddenly put into the forefront. For pure election integrity, diminish the powerful political families that are national, regional, state wide and local who benefit from having power and get their beaks wet.

The republican party has erased itself from the running with its cheap authoritarian, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, religiously bigoted policies, together with its love affair with crazy religious cults. I remember when the republican party was respectable. I even once worked for a republican candidate, going around the state with him. My parents were independents who voted for republicans sometimes. My dad even told me that he voted for Nixon the first time and against him the second. No more. The republican party chose its road. How would any American not want to know all about the Jan. 6 attack on Congress? How would any American not want to fight the pandemic with everything we've got? I could go on, but the upshot is that I question whether the republican party even supports the 328+ million American People, Our Constitution, and our rights.
