You do realize that that does nothing to stop criminals or mass shooters...right. That the Santa Barbara shooter and several other shooters used legally mandated 10 round magazines..right?

The magazine issue is a non issue. Mass shooters can kill just as easily with 10 round magazines as 15, and many have. And even if you get rid of all semi auto pistols......they can just use revoivers.

And by the way.......do you realize that France has magazine limits of 0 rounds. Normal, law abiding French citizens can't have any magazines of any capacity....they can't buy them in gun stores...no gun stores, they can't buy them at gun shows...no gun shows...and they can't buy them from individuals......they are illegal.

And French criminals and mass shooters, and terrorists.....can get them whenever they want them.

The 3 terrorists at the charlie hebdo shooting...all had them. The 8 terrorists in Paris...all had them. The terrorist on the train going to France had them. The criminals in France have them. The criminals in Belgium, Sweden, Denmark....they all have them when they want them....

So please explain why 10 round limits are a good thing?

So who said they are? I just was pointing out that that is also included in the attempted ban. You're preaching to the choir.

why not write a bill that just bans guns.

This is just another ridiculous sky is falling thread from the equally ridiculous right, another contrived controversy, more demagoguery and fear-mongering by conservatives for some perceived partisan gain.

It is Dem's who wrote it and Dem's who signed onto it.
They are doing the same thing for their base knowing full well it will not pass, as the R's are doing theirs on Obama Care knowing that it will not be signed by the Pres.
