For the next 50 plus years, school and other random mass killings have taken place. What changed? Why the shift? Start with personal accountability. There is none. Next, how about Hollywood and Arts glorifying gun violence? Failed gun free zones plus the increase of non-gun mass killings where knives and cars are being used.

Maybe your wet dream fantasy of guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens will prevail but the trend towards mass killings is a culture shift; not a gun shift.

The crazed, motivated killers will always have a gun. Your plan will only take away guns from the law abiding citizens. How is your plan going to keep guns from the unlawful?

My plan is to have good background checks and do away with bump stocks and automatic kits and Giants clips, and make them really illegal... Slowly but surely things would get better. And that's the Democratic plan not Banning everything and taking them away. Thinking having machine guns is going to stop the country from going fascist or communist is absolute brainwashed fear-mongered NRA GOP bologna. Respect for the law it's what keeps that from happening, not a giant pile of conspiracy theories that appear to be the basis of GOP philosophy now, if you can call it anything respectable. Also we need to help the middle class and the non-rich in general with better training cheaper college loans etc etc and a living wage, so it's not a chaotic mess has it has become the last 35 years. Great job GOP and silly dupes... 4 or 5 weeks paid vacation, healthcare for all, paid parental leave etc etc would also bring down the stress quotient that is totally out of hand now. You know like every other modern country...

I know enough to know they're not a good idea in a normal country LOL... By the way insane people are not very good at passing background checks or going on the black market because they are insane! It sure as hell would make a huge difference to have a background check system without a million loopholes and entire states that don't pay attention or for that matter the military...
