Which part do you think is not true? If the MW is raised. a business has two choices 1. raise his prices, 2. reduce his number of employees. I guess there is a third choice, go out of business.

If he raises prices, his sales go down so he needs fewer workers. If he lays off workers but holds prices constant, some people lose their jobs. If he goes out of business, all of the workers lose their jobs.

less than 3% of american workers make MW. Almost all of those are teens working part time for spending money. Raise the MW and some of those teens won't have those part time jobs.
