I might finally get to see a specialist. It's been a very long time since I have been dealing with this.

It is twice as bad because none of this needed to happen. Less than a year ago I has my eyes checked and got new glasses. No one said anything. When I got to Idaho I was concerned about passing the eye test for my driver's license. I had a funny feeling, you know how you get those. The optometrist gave me NEW glasses and said i wasn't looking too good inside my left eye and sent me to a retina specialist. He gave me an injection in the eyeball and said it should have been done a year ago. That means I saw the California doc TWICE and passed me up. Now that I think about it, I asked her about this very thing and got dismissed.
Stepdad had those a few years back. He was elderly and had tiny blood vessels growing inside the eye that weren't supposed to be there. Watching them inject his eyeball was creepy.
