Seems to me that the only way that most of my friends and colleagues got their degrees was with the help of government. G.I. Bill? State College or University versus Private? I sure as hell couldn't have afforded anything else. Harvard? Princeton? The smartest friends I have took advantage of the G.I. Bill.

Education is a must, especially higher education. It's one of the three things the federal government SHOULD support and support with weight. The only thing keeping the world from contracting into feudal war-lords squabbling over resources and religious differences is the access that We, The middle class People have to higher education.

A degree makes a big difference in America.

Is the system perfect? Fuck no! But, de-funding education is NOT the answer.
