Same Shit, that is precisely what science says. This will be the second time I have posted this, from Wikipedia's article on the polar vortex. Note, meanders (Rossby waves) occur when the vortex is weak.

Climatology observations require several decades to definitively distinguish natural variability from climate trends.[38]

Over 1590 all time record cold temperatures were set last night and tonight it will again set many more. I still laugh when these people claim their mighty CO2 molecule is some how making it colder because it warms... If this were true, then these massive records would not be occurring today.
