If McCain had won then the recession would probably be worse because he would have done nothing about it just like Hoover back in the early 1930's.

If Romney had won there would be more tax cuts for the rich including himself and more oil drilling everywhere including right off the coasts with more oil spillage as well. When you make $20 million income per year like Mitt then it is just really tough paying all that 14% tax so more tax cuts would have been his only legacy. Then he and W. could have had a love fest together. W. had cut taxes on the rich even more than Reagan had.

Whether two whiteys could keep the lid on the exploding black pressure cooker better than a 12% black President is unlikely.

If America had a President, he would understand that today is the day when he must address the nation, all of its citizens, and tell us something to temper our anger and sooth our sensibilities.

Of course, as a country we've had many such days.....but instead he chooses to take sides and throw gasoline on a country on the brink. He tells us "the police acted stupidly" only to learn they had not, or to send his attorney general to Missouri town to indict and prosecute (persecute really) a cop who was defending himself from an aggressor.
