Today's panic porn, now at 12 million total cases in US since start. 80% asymptomatic is the WHO's own number. So if there are 4x more asymptomatics who had it and got over it out there, that is 56 million people.
25% of the population is about 75 million? We are getting close.
That's why although they can always make new cases jump with more testing, case fatality rate and infection fatality rate are going steadily downward. There is no argument over this. More people are surviving because the pandemic is over. We are long past the "wildfire" stage and locking down everything over new cases and a declining death rate. At this point I'd say they have merged the new flu season into a "second wave" and falsely calling it all COVID.
"It is now established that at least 30% of our population already had immunological recognition of this new virus, before it even arrived...COVID-19 is new, but coronaviruses are not." - Dr. Mike Yeadon, a former Vice President and Chief Science Officer for Pfizer https://discover.hubpages.com/politi...ndemic-is-Over
"...epidemiological studies show that, with the extent of prior immunity that we can now reasonably assume to be the case, only 15-25% of the population being infected is sufficient to bring the spread of the virus to a halt..." - Dr. Mike Yeadon, a former Vice President and Chief Science Officer for Pfizer https://discover.hubpages.com/politi...ndemic-is-Over
