All the suppliers based in the US still pay US corporate taxes
All the executives who live in the USA still pay federal income taxes.

The feds get PLENTY of tax money from Burger King even if some of the profits cannot be taxed.

Also the thousands of employees working at BK need their jobs and they pay taxes.

I have to wonder what is wrong with you people? For only this one factor you would go to BK, do you really hate America that much? So I can assume that all the left wingers that are applauding BK will never once again raise on voice of concern when an American company moves off shore. Thank goodness if this is all it takes to shut them up..

Not because they are moving. Because the very people that pushed them out, then scream boycott when they actually consider leaving, are trying to destroy them. Part of America is trying to bully corporations into capitulating to unrealistic demands. They trash corporations for "slave wages" and push them to change their menus (to healthier choices that are not selling very well because who goes to a ff restaurant for preservative laced salads and apple slices), and still don't patronize them. (continue demonizing them, in fact). Some people are trying to make up those shortfalls to keep these businesses going in America.

Most conservatives are not of the mindset to punish businesses for not being Costco. Many conservatives see the damage done by those boycotts and woke up. They get to have their say, too, and show support with their dollars.

BK franchises are small businesses and can't always absorb the political nonsense. They sell burgers and fries, as they have for a looooooong time. They employ a LOT of people, many good jobs (construction, glaziers, truckers, accountants, etc). We don't want to lose those as it would HURT America.

It is just a different opinion, and often a well-thought out one. That's what America is about, not bullying businesses to cave to the newest political movement. We just want them to weather the storm until the boycotters find something else to get outraged at and move on to an easier target.

Bottom line is that they will no longer be an American company. And I have always chosen to spend my money on American products whenever possible. Those who choose to buy foreign made products over American have no right to cry, piss and moan over American joblessness.
