Look at Iran as an example. What are our leaders waiting for? For whenever Iran starts tossing bombs into enemy territory knowing we wont respond? Just like with Syria. Looks like playing golf with Tiger Woods superceded the never ending violence/bombings throughout the Arab States.

Right wing posters have made careers of complaining how Obama is out to destroy the country. Yet when Obama plays golf or takes vacations, these geniuses complain "how come he isn't doing his job?"
I for one was delighted when bush was taking long vacations, clearing brush at the ranch, or watching cartoons, because then he wasn't screwing things up by "running" the country. Of course there was always the worry about what cheney was up to in the meantime.

I'm going to kind of go against you here Seven. We lost nothing by waiting. We didn't spend the money on missiles, no lives lost, no equipment damaged. What we have gained is there are now 100k less muslims to deal with. And we didn't have to lift a finger to get that done they did it themselves. I'm thinking let's ride this out until they hit about 3 million then kind of decide if we give a shit or not.

Oh, there's a Syrian crisis, certainly. The huge refugee camps in Turkey and Syrians also streaming into Iraq and Jordan make me wonder if this is an attempt to relieve Turkey under terms of the NATO alliance.

Seems to me pinging away at Syrians with large missiles would just produce more refugees, but what do I know......
