Is it possible that Ben Carson has Asperger's Syndrome?

Maybe...

He has a hard time speaking and talking directly to people. Sounds like Asperger to me.

He does not seem to show obvious symptoms of struggling in unusual and unfamiliar situation.
I don't watch or listen to him much or seriously.

Very interesting theory.

Not if you know anything about Asperger's.

None of the ramblingly incoherent anecdotes in the linked article are related to Asperger's. It has nothing to do with any of that.

There is no point made here.

Asperger's has more to do with interpreting non-verbal communication cues --- not with how one comes up with theories or policies. In other words it has nothing to do with deductive reasoning. It's relevant to interpersonal relationships.

This is not to be a ha ha ha bashing thread but a serious question that has been brought up

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT BEN CARSON HAS ASPERGER'S SYNDROME?

This is what I've been saying for a couple weeks now, there is something creepy about this dude. He's obviously intelligent about 'some' things, you can't be a surgeon without knowing a lot, but his mind is really bizarre when you listen to him. I not only think he isn't qualified to be president, not on experience but on a mind that isn't sound. I also am wondering now how exactly this guy remained head of anything at John's Hopkins! The people that worked with him daily had to know there was something strange going on with him.

He will be forced to drop out, his ideas and splintered view of reality are mounting against him.

Even if he did, the outcome of it is actually probably beneficial to a president; being "stuck" in the White House "bubble" etc. I'm not particularly worried about a presidential candidate having things like OCD, ADHD, etc.

The thing about the pyramids being built for grain storage though... it defies logic so it bothers me a bit that he actually believes that.

That actually might be one of the rare places it has a point -- if the character referenced is an accurate description.

I don't watch TV so I don't know the character at all, so whether it's an accurate example I have no clue.

Bottom line is still that the effect of Asperger's is simply that one's mind works in a different way from others. It doesn't mean we reach different conclusions.

If it was only one thing you could say eh, whatever.

It isn't, he says things every day that are bizarre. Sorry but the dude's creepy meter stays at about 80% constantly.

I don't think <que's> is a word even in Spanish. And I know it isn't in French.

If you mean cues (notice no apostrophe, as we never ever use an apostrophe to form a plural in English), no, it's about NON-verbal cues. Like body language and facial expression.
