Former California Governor Schwarzenegger famously put anything female up for grabs. CNN seems. . .to put anything up for grabs, by comparison. Compared with CBS/YouGov, however, CNN does find people in their poll who might be said, "undecided." There are 19% of some voters actually able to change their minds before election day. CBS/YouGov could create poll results in states with high numbers of undecided voters, more or less responding, "Not us!" Those were paid survey takers, likey politically active. The bias tends to be Conservative, like the similar polls in the United Kingdom.

That aside, it is not clear that the Senator is winning re-election. Noted in the polls, there are entire areas of Kentucky lopsided in support of the challenger. The result of the poll may be as much influenced by the Obama mis-events--or more events--than anything otherwise relevant to Kentucky. Obama is currently on a downtrend in approval ratings. Just today, however, one of his drones may have killed a terrorist leader.

Like McConnel created his scandal near to the Labor Day weekend, with school starting. Obama held off on any ISIS strategy in the same time-frame, and then even held off any explanation of the remarks.

Mostly, the Senate will not be in session before the election. Free news time will tend more to presidential stature matters, and not to Senate votes or committee sessions.

There are actually found to be GOP cross-overs.

I really hope that Alison Lundergan Grimes wins this race. She's kicked Wrongpublican patriarch ass at the state level and would do us a wyrld of good as a U.S. Senator. Just look at those biceps.

She's the strong, independent womyn Kentucky--and America--needs.

McConnell has never done anything else EXCEPT campaign. But, since they only "work" 126 days a year, that's pretty much what most of congress does.

If Grimes wins, Dems will fair well nationwide. If she loses, Republicans will most likely have a good night. It won't matter much though, because in 2016 Dems will take back control of the Senate, if they do happen to lose it this year.
