Is the average American only allowed to like reality shows and sitcoms?

I like BSG and Babylon 5. The only people I have met who likes those types of shows are in the military or have served in the military.

Does the typical American not relate to military people anymore?

All you need to do is look at the last election to see the U.S.'s opinion of reality TV.

Did you get that one where they film people watching tv.?

The are sitting in their living room commenting on the tv they are watching, so you are watching people who are watching tv.

I'm a B5 fan. There are a lot of B5 fans out there. Lots. Michael Straczynski was able to put the entire story out. There aren't too many people with that talent. They often seek to just keep going and going and going and it loses direction and focus.

"Only allowed?" Hmmm...I seem to have missed who Barry appointed as Reality Shows/Sitcoms Czar.

The only thing that I watch on TV these days is Blue Bloods and Last Man Standing.

God bless you always!!! :) :) :)

I prefer documentaries. But I certainly do not hold it against those that spend their time watching the other types of shows.
