Israel destroys hezbollah weapons in Syria, liberals go insane

Read the article. Did not see any comments at all, really. Just pretty straight forward reporting of what is happening, no opinion expressed about it.

Don't know why people like you have to lie about what is written. Especially when people can read the linked article and see that what you wrote is a flat out lie.

1) I'm a liberal.

2) I'm not going insane over this.

Obama says he won't comment on Israeli airstrike
May 4,`13 -- President Barack Obama says he won't comment on an Israeli airstrike against Syria that targeted a shipment of advanced missiles believed to be headed for the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
Israeli officials on Saturday confirmed the strike, which took place early Friday.

Obama told the Spanish-language network Telemundo in an interview that he will defer to the Israeli government for comment. He also repeated his view that the Israelis justifiably have to guard against the transfer of advanced weapons to organizations like Hezbollah. The U.S. considers Hezbollah a terrorist organization.

Obama conducted the interview on Saturday, and a portion of the president's answer to a question about the airstrike was broadcast on MSNBC.

Sunnis flee Syrian city after reports of killings
May 4,`13 -- Thousands of Sunni Muslims fled a Syrian coastal town Saturday, a day after reports circulated that dozens of people, including children, had been killed by pro-government gunmen in the area, activists said.
The violence occurred as embattled Syrian President Bashar Assad made his second public appearance in a week in the capital, Damascus. Also, Israeli officials confirmed that the country's air force carried out an airstrike against Syria, saying it targeted a shipment of advanced missiles bound for the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, an ally of the Assad regime. It was the second Israeli strike this year against Syria and the latest salvo in its long-running effort to disrupt Hezbollah's quest to build an arsenal capable of defending against Israel's air force and spreading destruction inside the Jewish state.

The violence in the coastal region of Syria underscored the sectarian nature of the two-year conflict that has killed tens of thousands and sent more than 1 million Syrians refugees to neighboring countries. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said around 4,000 people were fleeing from the predominantly Sunni southern parts of the Mediterranean city of Banias amid fears that pro-government gunmen "might commit a massacre."

There were conflicting reports of the death toll in Banias on Friday. The Observatory said at least 62 people, including 14 children, were killed in Ras al-Nabeh, a neighborhood in Banias, but that the number could rise as many people are still missing. The Local Coordination Committees, another activist group, said 102 people were killed.

The Observatory said security forces were checking people's identity cards and asking them to return to Banias so that the situation could appear normal. It said those fleeing were mostly heading to the city of Tartus to the south and the town of Jableh just north of Banias. Banias residents told The Associated Press by telephone that the central market was mostly closed Saturday amid fears of more violence. They spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of government reprisals. The reported exodus from Banias came after activists said Friday that regime troops and gunmen from nearby Alawite areas beat, stabbed and shot at least 50 people in the Sunni Muslim village of Bayda, near Banias.

The killings in Bayda brought wide condemnation as footage of dead children were widely circulated on TV stations and social media sites. "We strongly condemn atrocities against the civilian population and reinforce our solidarity with the Syrian people," said U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki. "Those responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law and serious violations and abuses of human rights law must be held accountable," Psaki said.

Obama says Israel got a right to defend itself against Hezbollah weapons...

Obama: Israel Justified in Protecting Itself Against Arms Shipments to Hezbollah
May 04, 2013 - U.S. President Barack Obama says Israel is justified in protecting itself from advanced weapons shipments to terrorist groups like Hezbollah.
In an interview Saturday with the Spanish-language network Telemundo, Obama did not directly comment on reports of an Israeli airstrike against a Syrian missile shipment believed bound for Hezbollah. He said he would let Israel "confirm or deny whatever strikes that they have taken."

Anonymous Israeli officials say Israel struck a missile shipment believed headed for the Lebanese-based militant group late Thursday. The officials say chemical weapons were not the target. The Israeli government has not confirmed the report. U.S. officials say the target appeared to be a warehouse. There is no sign Israeli warplanes entered Syrian airspace.

Hezbollah is allied with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The militant group, supported by Iran, waged a brief war with Israel in 2006. This would be the second time Israel has conducted airstrikes against Syria this year. Israel said it attacked a weapons convoy in Syria believed headed for Hezbollah in January.

LMAO!!! He's talking about the comments section. Well Stevo, it's not different than you becoming unhinged about transgendered people or just about anything you post.

Check out this one. It's hard to be this stupid, so he must be deliberately lying and rewriting history. He actually blames Israel for the PLO going to lebanon and Israel for starting the lebanese civil war. Apparenltly he forgot it began in 1975 and israel invaded in 1982.

Ok, this type of escalation can blow up in your face. Remember Lebanon? Israel chases the PLO into Lebanon and caused a civil war there that lasted 10 years. Refugees camp full of a lost generation of future extremist. I.e. Hezzbla...

Reagan encouraged the isrrali air force during that time to use American aircraft F16 for strikes into Lebanon. Now Isreal has a radical leadership in place with eyes on territorial ambitions. Good luck middle east this won't end well.

I don't blame trannies for all the world's problems, I don't call trannies 5th columnists, I don't wish death or violence against trannies. Slight difference.

Jews always do the same thing and to sane people, their behaviour is predictable.
They start wars with nations using American tax payer resources, then they make money from the nation under attack which goes into their bank accounts.

"From the article: 'Large amounts of computer equipment from Dell have been sold to the Syrian government through a Dubai-based distributor despite strict trade sanctions intended to ban the selling of technology to the regime, according to documents obtained by The New York Times. The disclosure of the computer sales is the latest example of how the Syrian government has managed to acquire technology, some of which is used to censor Internet activity and track opponents of the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad.'"

Didn't Obama give his blessing for the Syrian airstrike while he was over there visiting last time?

Well, there is at least a passing resemblance.
