TUBAS (Ma’an) – Volunteers from 10 Palestinian grassroots organizations based in Ramallah and Nablus on Monday rebuilt two tents and two steel structures in Khirbet al-Makhoul which Israeli forces demolished on Sept. 16.*Khirbet al-Makhoul is a hamlet in the Jordan Valley’s Tubas district housing about 120 Bedouins living in tents and handmade steel structures. Israeli forces stormed the small village on Sept. 16 and demolished it entirely.*Monday’s voluntary work was organized by the Ma’an Development Center. The volunteers represented 10 organizations which signed a 2011 partnership agreement they called the “partnership for the sake of development”.*Tubas Gov. Rabih al-Khandaqji applauded the volunteers and highlighted that an international organization funded part of the reconstruction job, which included usable remnants of the tents and steel structures. He said the deputy governor and other officials from the governor’s office were sent to the village to oversee the reconstruction process.*

This area is a closed military area. Those squatters ain't supposed to build there. It's hard to clean out a nest of La Cucaracha.

The OP is actually correct in one word used in the OP post: story.

The OP's representation of events is indeed a 'story', as in 'fiction'...... that's all the OP has ever had, a fantasy universe in which Israelis can do no right and Muslims or Arabs or whoever says that they support Palestinians can do no wrong.

Blind fanaticism is NEVER any good, whether it's stupid thugs of Israeli 'hilltop youth', al-shabaab, or the l'il sherriliar. NONE of it's any good, ever. And all the "piety" in the world will never cancel out the evil of a totally one-sided 'perspective'.

Still----sherri makes a good point-----TIME TO REBUILD that which was destroyed ----
The koran details the criminal destruction of YATHRIB-----ie the jewish city which
is now called 'medina' ----time to rebuild the JEWISH CITY OF YATHRIB-----
and the many thousands and thousands of cities, synagogues and yeshivas
destroyed in the name of isa/allah----THRUOUT THE MIDDLE EAST----in fact
also africa and huge parts of Asia. There were jewish communities in what is
today called "pakistan'-------that depraved country might benfit from a bit of
revived civilization

Of course ----lets no be ethnocentric-----the city called 'mecca' was----not so
long ago-----a VIBRANT CULTURALLY diversified city------no doubt with christians,
jews and zoroastrians ----but scholars also believe that there was ---long ago---in
better time----a strong hindu presence there
