Meteors are hitting the planet dozens or scores of times every day. For the space over just the US, last night 47 such impacters hit and airburst over our heads:

Something to think about and reflect upon.

"Meteors are hitting the planet dozens or scores of times every day"

Yet, humans have been living on the planet for about a billion days, and meteors have been low on the list of problems.

It is a truism of the human condition to mistake the magnitude of an event for the frequency of its occurrence...and inversely, the frequency of an event is often mistaken for its magnitude.

This is why Las Vegas can afford electricity.
