I did make a gamble that he would win and there would be a boost to the market due to his win and moved a tidy sum into a new brokered account. Paid off nicely till Trump started his stupid trade war.

i'm still out on the trade war routine. i think he's being brash and "unnecessarily" assholeish about it, but so far, he's at least gotten n korea to the table to talk (jury still out but a first step is a first step) and now an agreement with mexico with more than enough savings to fund his wall (of which i think is asinine and unnecessary) so maybe his tantrum-type ways does get things moving at least in a different direction.

in the end, i'm ok with different. i'm also ok with his shaking up the government because look at the crap that's coming out we *do* need to be aware of and put partisan politics aside and prosecute crimes for crimes, not "oh needed cause we hate someone".
