The 1/6 Reichstag Fire shut down the legitimacy of the investigation into the massive election fraud by the Nazi party. I suspect the entire thing was an operation conducted by the KGB, who no doubt had agents in the crowd instigating the trespassing into the capitol. It gave fodder to the Nazis to discredit the patriots rightly demanding answers to the massive election fraud.
