Japan, Pacific islands to boost security ties as China's influence grows

Japan and Pacific island nations agreed on Thursday to increase security, trade and climate cooperation following a three-day summit in which Tokyo sought to deepen ties with its island neighbors as China makes further diplomatic headway in the vast region.

This is good to see, these smaller countries need to come together to stand up for themselves.

This will be a focus of Trump if elected and China knows it. Japan,.S Korea,.Philippines Taiwan. Trump will sell them plenty of weapons.

All of these countries are preparing for less US support if Trump wins, not more.

Trunp will get concessions from other nations, this is all negotiation 101 (and some election tactics). Don't forget, he angered the media when he called Taiwan a nation and called the PM of Taiwan soon after he was elected in 2016. All of the talk from some is never backed by REAL support such as recognizing Taiwan as a country, yet, they attack Trump for a.phone call. They even blocked Taiwan from the WTO during covid!
