Jealousy (Hasad)is a disease

Jealousy (Hasad)is a disease of the heart. It is, perhaps, one of the oldest problems of human beings. Some Islamic scholars say that this is the first sin that was committed. When Allah said to the angels to bow down to Adam, Iblis refused to bow because he was jealous of the honor that Allah gave to Adam. Jealousy: There is no jealousy in Islam except for giving charity and seeking knowledge.

Hasad (jealousy and envy) is among the most destructive emotions or feeling which a man may have towards his fellow human being. It causes him to wish evil for others and to be happy when misfortune befalls them. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) warned against envy by comparing it to fire that completely burns the wood. He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said:“Beware of jealousy, for verily it destroys good deeds the way fire destroys wood.”

Hazrat Imam al‑Naqi (AS ) has said:

"A jealous person does more harm to himself than to others". Jealousy is in fact a sign of a number of deficiencies and diseases viza) A jealous person is selfish and wants everything for himself to the exclusion of others.

If you feel that you are jealous of a specific person, then buy him a gift and shake hands with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Shake hands, for this will dispel rancour, and exchange gifts and love one another, for this will dispel hatred

During the month of RAJAB, SHABAN & RAMZAN one make good efforts to get rid of this evil sin cum disease which is called JEALOUSY,Jealousy eats good deeds, like fire consumes wood. Those who want to keep un-destroy their GOOD deeds than avoid Jealousy.

Interestingly, jealousy starts early in childhood, typically when the next sibling is born, and the attention shifts quickly from you to your younger sibling.

Agree here is a tangible example using a familiar analogy of 2 siblings offered an equal slice of pie from their father.
I liken the behavior of the initial PA movement by Haj Amin Al-Husseini when initially given equal portion of land, and todays radicals call for the whole pie, to that of a child being given an equal portion of pie as his brother is given.
You know when your parent cuts you a slice it might be aprox size as the other slice being given, but never exact same portions.
Well one brother always gets greedy as you say, and jealous of the other brother getting a slice of the pie.
So it's like being a spoiled brat or jealous that your brother is getting a slice of the pie along with you and thus feel you want the whole pie to yourself.
In your jealous and child like rage you crawl under the table in a sneaky manner trying to attack your borther to get his piece of the pie.
But he somehow manages to stop you under the table by blocking you with his feet.
While you're stuck under the table you gave up all rights to your own slice of the pie which you left open and unprotected in your greed.
Your brother takes a few playful bites out of your pie to teach you a lesson, but also as compensation for your silly move. Your Father see's what you're doing under the Table and takes the pie away from you and tells you that you can only have that slice when you say sorry and can be trusted to behave.

Because of the uprising by the Arabs many of the leaders became exhiled
(sent to their rooms ) and they became seriously disorganized during the crucial decade in which the future of Palestine was decided (they were absantee). If they hadn’t wanted the whole pie they would have been enjoying the half they were gonna get at the time it was handed out fairly and are still trying to be given. Since the brat wouldn't take it, because it’s not the whole pie, they kept poking their forks into the pie handlers hand (Brittain) as he feeds it to him.
Therefore I wouldn't blame religion I would blame human behavior, some people just aren't mature or responsible enough to be given anything.
Today is a perfect example of people not getting their lesson from their prior mistakes, probably because they always accused their victims instead of themselves or their brethren outsiders who were the initiators (as seen today with the Gaza protest). When displacing blame you fail to recongize the issues nor solve then so your damned to repeat them as we see now.
Today they are ready to make the same exact mistake as last time, they still want the whole pie, unsatisfied with getting their fair share they will be like a brat constantly tormenting their brother hoping their anoying behavior will relinquish the other piece of the pie.
Children, mere bratty children and without the sense to notice when they are being set up by their own who do not care about their welfare, they only care about progressing a cause to destroy civilized societies till everyone is as chaotic and backwards as they are.
What is the radicals philosophy? There is none, it’s just one big anarchistic free for all and their own people are used as chips in their silly little sadistic game.
This is the kind of people Palestinians support and look up to, the same people who lead them to turmoil all these years and kept peace from them. The same people who will use them once again to get what they want even if it destroys the people once again.

As per my vid link in my below posts signature the following is describing more of the same leason on jelousy.

A state gives your family and friends and relatives homes in one project that resides across from another project that they reward another group of people. The projects are both the same drab plain buildings sufficient enough to live in but no thrills.
Now you take your project and add to it’s courtyards beautiful trees then on the back of the projects you plant fruit trees and vegetable gardens. Your community gets together and makes simple social rules on which to live by so that the community remains a secure and respectable place.
Your community works together and adds a beautiful Gazebo in the midst of the garden and people volunteer material and labor to work on the hallways of the project to add fresh plush carpeting and a colorful paint job to give it a more stylish and sophisticated look.
Someone donates a couch, another donates a set of paintings and a coffee table and a lamp and end table, so suddenly you have a beautiful lobby.
Now the project no longer looks like a low income housing.

On the other projects across the way they didn’t work together or take care of their housing. They let it get run down, they also let thugs take over making it dangerous and unpleasant to live.
That project started to look at the other well run project in amazement but also with feelings of inadequacy and jealousy. They start to displace their situation on the people of the other cleaner projects and start taking their frustration and anger out on that good community by throwing rocks through their windows trying to damage property and cars, spraying graffiti, attacking the communities kids, using knives and guns to threaten and harm your children and your relatives and friends families.
Not one of the failed project’s heads or community leaders will do anything about curbing this activity.
What is the reaction to this kind of criminal activity to protect your family when the heads of the project over there do nothing about their malicious activity? That’s right you get the Police to move into that bad project and round up the thugs who are causing these crimes. If you don’t then you don’t love your community, kids, friends and family. And If one sides with the thugs against the victims calling the Police action wrong then they support the kind of decaying destructive spirit that exists in society and human behavior thus they support the cancerous cell in destroying the society's body as a whole.

No because Israel has the same radicals only Jewish. They used to be blowing up London hotels and kill politicians to influence border creation. The problem is therefore deeper, the problem is the very creation of new borders where there were none before. And yes, when we create new borders, like cutting pies, it is impossible to be fair. Britain was intelligent enough not to bloody its hands with such a dirty deal, until it was bullied into doing it. In the analogy, this is like one of the brothers somehow managing to bully the father to even start cutting the pie.

The message of the entire Democratic Party is based on envy towards people who have more than you. Both Hillary and Bernie are stirring up hatred of the rich and corporations to get votes of people who don't know what it means to get up early in the morning and go get something for yourself.

Envy and selfishness.
I understand why some youth are forced onto being duped into the blame game and share is fair charade.
The younger generation is coming into their time of life where they have to go out on their own in this world and they are faced doing it in the worst job and economy environment. They are expected to keep up with their parents way of life or expectations within their parents class environment and yet they can't even come close to afford their parents neighborhoods
or luxuries. In a way their being spoiled messes up their ability to budget themselves in practicle ways by their own means not their parents means.
Employers know the desperation take advantage of their employees and employees half the time are unmotivated, uncaring, slow or lazy, and incompetent or self serving. So facing this they see corruption, immoral business practices and broad stroke the whole business world through frustration. So their solution is selfish to their needs never considering what old retired people face today with
half their savings wiped out, half their home value wiped out, 2/3 their retirement income wiped out through low interests.
The older generation also selfish are leaving the youth footing the bill because they lived by the moment, and the generation of morals lost their way and allowed morality to flee and in their complacency left the youth with the same struggle, both ironically fighting for the same non career type jobs. Ironically the elder generation fighting socialism sees it's youth blindly embracing the ideas.
Our choices to be selfish, complacent, blind to the signs, deaf to the voices warning us.
THE elderly envious of youth today and youth envying their security, but in reality they are both suffering the inability to forsee future probabilities and adapt.
One way to see future probabilities is to study the past and notice emulations repeating. Obviously the youth don't know why socialism fails, & that they are fighting the very thing that allows progress, good greed (not bad greed) that causes motivation, excess of available comforts and conveniences, more readilly available food and luxury, abundances etc.
They are spoiled having 20 types of bread with 2-4 brand choices in every grocery and convenience store on almost every 5 blocks. They don't know of Bread lines in Russia 1 type, 1 brand, 1-2 outlets per city.
They live 10 to a room on spring break not knowing it was a year round life style in socialist nations. Maybe if they showed Moscow on the Hudson instead of soap operas in their college lounges they would get a clue.
