Because of the BDS and other anti semitic evil that is permeating the democratic party lately Jewish republican voters have surged. 7% jewish republicans was counted as a tremendous victory as recently as 2004. It sank back down until 2014, when 37% of jews voted republican.

Jews are not Republican voters by inclination. Republican views of social darwinism are anathema to them. Hunting, which republicans love is Treuf, unclean. One can go down the list of hot button issues for both parties and Jews land on the democrat side.

One issue the Republicans do better than democrats is on the state of Israel, but here, Jews really would prefer to be on opposite sides. Republicans have an attitude that makes Jews decidedly uncomfortable. Partly because of the evangelical nature of the support, partly because of the dislike and disdain of republicans for arabs in general.

Why this is such bad news for republicans and democrats alike is a Jewish virtue. They are a microscopic minority, but they participate at 95%, contribute shiploads of cash and work hard for their candidates. They are the engine of candidates.

For Democrats this sudden defection of a large and important source of funding and workers, a defection caused by democrats own stupidity, means losses of huge magnitudes.

This is going to change Republican views. Candidates will trim for such a powerful minority.

Having so many defecting to the republican side, they will not go back to the Democrat side. Especially as Obama doubling down on doing the state of Israel dirty. The Republicans are standing firm by Israel, and that is very important right now for Jewish voters. Sanders, while Jewish is of the self loathing type. He won't attract many jewish voters. Je is a loon, and Jewish voters like that even less. Hillary is dishonest, and they can't trust her.

If the Republicans chose a firebreather loon, or who they feel is one, or is an anti semite, they will go back, but not in such big numbers. If the Republicans chose someone they can feel comfortable with, watch an even bigger defection in 2016

First the Jewish community...

Now which... How did you put it?... Oh yeah!... minor minority group will the Democratic party oppress and compel to leave for another political party with their views next?...

Keep up the good work progressives!
