Jim Jordan: Dems first HR Bill, lower voting age to 16, make taxpayers fund campaigns

And yet it is not worded as such and leaves it open to interpretation by election offices.
Do you lack access to first source materials, or are you just easily misled?

Text - H.R.1 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): For the People Act of 2019
I am reading it, and everyone that applies through any agency of a state, will automatically be registered unless they decline to n writing within 45 days. And regarding age-

d) Treatment Of Individuals Under 18 Years Of Age.—A State may not refuse to treat an individual as an eligible individual for purposes of this part on the grounds that the individual is less than 18 years of age at the time a contributing agency receives information with respect to the individual, so long as the individual is at least 16 years of age at such time.

So, yeah, that pretty much cinches it.

Going through the rest now. Will report back what it reads.
Hey dumbass, that is about an automatic registration system (the purposes of this part) and 16 year olds being able to check to see if they are auto registered to vote if the turn 18 by the next election. You idiots need to learn to read for yourselves instead of letting the lying scum Freedumb Caucus read for you!!!!!
It is worded exactly as such and is only open to "interpretation" by lying scum like rapist enabler Jordan.

And in the highlighted c above, note where it states one must register with a party from the time of registration, if that state requires voters to register with a party to vote in a primary.

Weird, no? Direct from him.

Democrats first bill HR 1: -Lowers voting age to 16 -Gives federal workers 6 days paid vacation to work the polls -AND makes taxpayers finance campaigns Just what we need. Taxpayers paying to get politicians to the Swamp.
Jordan should be in prison for failure to report his wrestlers being molested. As a coach he was a mandatory reporter and failed to do so.

I'm guessing that's how they handle elections in Munchkin City in the county of the Land of Oz.

So who do you believe? Jordan? Or the many wrestlers that complain?

How do you know what it says? When I looked at it just now, it said the summary was in progress but it wasn’t available. So where does it say there is support for voting at 16?
Well I know what the text of the bill says, and I also know that a bill, or law, can't change the const. Everyone sentient should know that. LOL

why should we pay for the campaigns of corrupt politicians? I have never figured that out....... so they not only become rich through government service with lifetime benefits and healthcare, they now want us to pay for their campaign each cycle? And that makes sense to who?

Yet-

In 2013, the City of Takoma Park, Maryland became the first place in the United States to lower its voting age to 16, for local (but not general) elections and referendums.[72][73] As of 2018, three additional cities have lowered the voting age to 16: Hyattsville and Greenbelt in Maryland, and Berkeley in California (for school board elections only).[74] In 2018, a bill in the Council of the District of Columbia was proposed to lower the voting age to 16, which would make the federal district the first jurisdiction to lower the voting age for federal level elections.[75]

So, yes it seems states and local jurisdictions could and have changed their laws to allow the age they wish for primaries as well as for state and local elections.

The bill doesn't provide that 16yr olds are eligible to vote. Voting age is set at 18 for federal elections by the 26th Amend. A law cannot alter the constitution. The law provides that states must register people as voters prior to eligibility.
