Yes, basically Progressives with a more Conservative slant on Social issues.

I would not call Wolfowitz conservative on social issues. But he definitely sees his role as that of educating/driving US policy to the dangers of a ME that is not contained by US military strength.

It was his desire to use 9/11 as a way to intervene in ME affairs. In reading his resume you get the sense that he felt somewhat responsible after Gulf War 1 for Saddam's gassing his people.

Yeah, hopefully people are beginning to figure things out. There is very little difference between a Socialist/Progressive and a Neocon. I think times are finally changing in the Republican Party.
