How do you deactivate the account? I want to do the same thing.

Just go to settings on Twitter and look for "Deactivate My Account"

I left Twitter months ago because it's just a toxic environment overall

I used it for news and information. I rarely talked to anyone who trolled me. I would ban them if they said one negative thing...because they're usually dickheads and you can't talk to them in a rational manner.
