The drop boxes came with Covid they are no longer necessary.

They have NEVER been necessary. Those with mail boxes have always been able to leave mail in those boxes for the postman to pick up. Apartment buildings have them. Everybody else is within walking distance to a mailbox or post office.

What bothers me is the vivid imagination and lack of training these monitors have.
They have no idea of what they are seeing and what is legally allowed. The fact that they are armed and are liable to jump to conclusions is a recipe for disaster
