Judge Napolitano: CNN has “a very good case” against White House in Acosta lawsuit

Right wing political analyst for Fox News says that there were no grounds for dismissing and Jim Acosta from the White House press conferences.

For the same reason the Naked Emperor was forced to unban people on his official Twitter account, he will be forced to let CNN back in the White House.

Trump is the leader of the wrong country. He belongs in some Third World dictatorship, where he'd be much happier.

yup - saluting NK Generals and telling the world how much he loves Kim.

Every now and then even a Republican hack gets it right.
You should know by now, I’m not an R. Are you slow? Ops. Forgive me for that. No doubt you consider that racist.

Stop thinking politics is binary.

You can expect 1 of 2 response.

1) Attacks of Napolitano. "He's a RINO anyway!"

2) Since when did you care what Napolitano thinks?

actually theres 3

3) fuck the world I'm Donald Trump

Response #3 is already taken. Your response is #4.
You can't even count, asswhip...

my #3 should have been #1 buttbreath

CNN was never prevented from coming to the White House.
Just one of their whiners.

Judge Nap nailed it. He always does.

Darned shame they gave Acosta a press pass, in the first place. To me he's not press. I think most would agree. He's an attention seeking pundit. That's the only reason Acosta was there. To start something with the President and get attention for it.

Many misguided American's think that reporters, journalists, and the press in general, are another legal branch of the government.

Other than freedom of the press and its 1st Amendment rights.

The government is under no legal obligation to grant them any special rights or privileges. ...

Acosta is clearly a propagandist. He is attacking Trump in absurd ways. Trump should have just let him continue to make an ass of himself.

Acosta is playing a game to appease the fools who watch CNN.

No one could prevent Acosta from making an ass of himself, he'll just have to do it from
outside of the White House.

If the courts rule that Acosta must be allowed to attend the White House Press conferences.

Then the President should never acknowledge or take any of Acosta's questions.

Problem solved!! ....
Acosta won't shut the fuck up. That's the reason they revoked him to being with.

Here's another angle....who enforces the Court's order? Technically, Trump could defy the Court and force impeachment proceedings that are already underway with the new commie horde entering the House.

The white house is allowing CNN in the press room just not Acosta...Napolitano always says what will get his name in the headlines but he is often wrong....

"No one...reporter or otherwise has a constitutional right to enter the white house briefing room"....
Josh Earnest
Obama spokesperson...

Pretty dumb move by the White House either way.

Don't call on him. Give him one-word answers.

You're making his career for him. Too funny.
.

When he does that to Acosta, he just keeps interrupting the President or the next reporter so he can argue with the President. He was rude and acting like a jackass.

Just call a press conference and let Acosta ask all the question. Don't answer any of them. Just stand there. Let him keep on for 20-30 minutes. Then, say "thank you" and leave.

Watch the bullshit that would come out of Acosta's pie hole.

This guy is in the tank against Trump. I noticed it early.

As it were, Acosta has made himself a spectacle, a juggling act for the seals to clap to. He has yelled out multiple times when inappropriate, all in some fake Alpha Male manner to announce "the low ratings CNN are representin'!"

They hate Trump now, since they worked so hard to have him win the Primaries, turned on him of course to destroy him against Hillary, and have him wipe the floor with the Queen and call them out, hammering their ratings. They feel like the biggest fools for helping him screw their business model.

Acosta has shouted out many times when appropriate, be it when at the N Korean Summit to the Easter Gathering at the WH lawn, to yelling when people are talking (and having fellow reporters turn and tell him "shhh"). If he can win this for being a pain in the ass lawsuits will be all over the place.

Also, can all Americans just sue because they don't have a Press Pass? CNN has other reporters, they can utilize them instead of Acosta.

This is what Sarah Sanders said in response to the lawsuit:

“We have been advised that CNN has filed a complaint challenging the suspension of Jim Acosta’s hard pass. This is just more grandstanding from CNN, and we will vigorously defend against this lawsuit. CNN, who has nearly 50 additional hard pass holders, and Mr. Acosta is no more or less special than any other media outlet or reporter with respect to the First Amendment," Sanders said in a statement Tuesday. "After Mr. Acosta asked the President two questions—each of which the President answered—he physically refused to surrender a White House microphone to an intern, so that other reporters might ask their questions. This was not the first time this reporter has inappropriately refused to yield to other reporters."

"The White House cannot run an orderly and fair press conference when a reporter acts this way, which is neither appropriate nor professional. The First Amendment is not served when a single reporter, of more than 150 present, attempts to monopolize the floor. If there is no check on this type of behavior it impedes the ability of the President, the White House staff, and members of the media to conduct business," she continued.

So, does Mr Acosta's 1st amendment rights mean that he can arbitrarily monopolize the press briefing? It sounds like his 1st Amendment rights are superseding everyone else's, how fair is that?

Acosta should have his 1st Amendment rights.

But the White House is under no legal obligation to invite him to the Press conference. ...

It's not about invitations. Under federal regulations his press pass cannot be revoked, except under limited circumstances.
