Because Hillary has done a better job at destroying herself than any mindless Republican could have done and Sanders's appeal is to welfare recipients and children not yet graduated.

Both Sanders and Hillary will and have fractured the party, much like McCain and Mitt did. None of the (base) wants either of them but the media tells that base only Hillary can win. On the flip side of that Sanders exposes the fringe left of the party, the Rightwinger, Rtards, Lokahaha, Jakes, Matts, Truthmatters on these boards and the Dem base tries to distance themselves from loonytoon lefties. A great example is Chris Matthews, he sees's Sanders as the downfall of the party because even he knows the policies will just fail and fail and fail.

The ball in play right now is honesty and while I totally dislike Sanders politics I have no doubt to his honesty. Hillary's staff member pleading the 5th should finish here this week as far as polls.

That should shift the dynamics to policy which will put Sanders on the front burner.

I agree. Some of these blogs are to well written to be someone's random blog. One was over a thousand words. Who has time to,write that.

So you recognize that Democrats are generally more informed and articulate than repubs. Good for you. To be fair, you could greatly increase your average intelligence if you could harness some of your really rabid right wingers. They bring your numbers down a lot.
