When Bush took over the Presidency in 2001 and we had the recession in March of 2001, was that Clinton or Bush?
I believe the economy is just what it is, it is going to natural ups and down and I don't credit or blame a President for much of it.

As far as the transportation industry, I see that it is doing better with less regulation, that is my experience and I do credit the Trump administration for ridding the industry of cumbersome and duplicitous regulations that have little to do with safety on the highways. I can't speak to the rest of the country or business however it is nice to work with a government agency as opposed to the adversarial relationship that existed in the previous years.

TARP was passed during Bush, the economy started to swing up in March and the money for the ARRA wasn't implemented until May/June of 2009. So it was Bush who should get the credit for the economy up until May/June?

Conversely, since the economy is doing rather well, would a better and more honest human being as president be admitting that he/she inherited a much improved economy and is riding on its coat-tails?

Short on criticisms I see. That's nothing new. He'd probably blame Obama. That's what POTUS do, blame the guy before them, Obama included. Course that didn't apply to Bush Sr., because Reagan was awesome.
