You're correct. Closely monitoring in normal circumstances means a method of determining what action to take. With Obabble it means what you do to explain why no action will be taken. A subterfuge, as it were.

People were losing not only their jobs, but their healthcare and homes by the 100's of thousands. The market was in freefall, and the economy of the whole world was in peril.

Now the market is back at near all times highs. Jobs are slowly coming back, home values are coming back. All this in the face of the GOP's determination to destroy the economy of this nation because they dislike the man the majority of Americans elected as their President.

And all these fruitloops can do is whine that there is no leadership in the Whitehouse And then complain that our President is leading without their permission.

Well, assholes, there are many things for which the President does not need your permission. And those things are getting done. Demonstrating a leadership which has your poor whining tails in a knot.
