Karl Marx's London grave vandalised in suspected hammer attack

Someone had the guts to begin tearing down an abomination to humanity. I can't believe it isn't a public toilet but if I get the chance I will piss there someday.

Karl Marx - Wikipedia

"From an academic perspective, Marx's work contributed to the birth of modern sociology.

"He has been cited as one of the 19th century's three masters of the 'school of suspicion' alongside Friedrich Nietzsche and Sigmund Freud[264] and as one of the three principal architects of modern social science along with Émile Durkheim and Max Weber.[265]

"In contrast to other philosophers, Marx offered theories that could often be tested with the scientific method.[19]

"Both Marx and Auguste Comte set out to develop scientifically justified ideologies in the wake of European secularisation and new developments in the philosophies of history and science.

"Working in the Hegelian tradition, Marx rejected Comtean sociological positivism in attempt to develop a science of society.[266]

"Karl Löwith considered Marx and Søren Kierkegaard to be the two greatest Hegelian philosophical successors.[267]

"In modern sociological theory, Marxist sociology is recognised as one of the main classical perspectives.

"Isaiah Berlin considers Marx the true founder of modern sociology 'in so far as anyone can claim the title'.[268]

"Beyond social science, he has also had a lasting legacy in philosophy, literature, the arts and the humanities.[269][270][271][272]"

Marx never confused himself with a prophet; his work focused on the history of economic science not its future, He was there for the birth of capitalism, and he saw it in all its for-profit splendor from child labor to 80 hour work weeks. His views on capitalism's eventual decline and extinction appear to be coming true for at least 90% of humanity.

Irrelevant as not one of his theories can be tested scientifically regardless of how much one studies.

He was a liar about science. As a prime example the scientific dialectic view of history has no science whatsoever supporting it.

He was a liar about science. As a prime example the scientific dialectic view of history has no science whatsoever supporting it.
Can you quote any lies Marx told regarding science?

The Tradition of Scientific Marxism by John Holloway

"In speaking of Marxism as ‘scientific’, Engels means that it is based on an understanding of social development that is just as exact as the scientific understanding of natural development.

"The course of both natural and human development is characterised by the same constant movement: ‘When we consider and reflect upon Nature at large or the history of mankind or our own intellectual activity, at first we see the picture of an endless entanglement of relations and reactions, permutations and combinations, in which nothing remains what, where and as it was, but everything moves, changes, comes into being and passes away....

"'This primitive, naïve but intrinsically correct conception of the world is that of ancient Greek philosophy, and was first clearly formulated by Heraclitus: everything is and is not, for everything is fluid, is constantly changing, constantly coming into being and passing away.’ (1968, p. 43)"

Yes I already did.

Nothing whatsoever in any of his theories or ideas is scientific.

Nothing he said can be tested scientifically. If he meant something other than science as your post states then he was by definition a liar

"Happy birthday to Karl Marx, who was born 200 years ago on May 5. He was the most astute and influential critic of capitalism in history — and also the most misunderstood...."

"And as economist Branko Milanovic argues, Marx is incontestably one of the greatest and most influential intellectuals of all time, right up there with Aristotle and Augustine.

"If nothing else, he is worth examining for that reason alone.

"But not only for that.

"Today, as against the neoclassicals who view the capitalist economy as a perfect self-regulating machine, Marx reminds us that capitalism has an inherent tendency towards crisis — and the purer the capitalist institutions, the worse these crises are.

"His historical grounding is refreshing in an economics profession that is far too often obsessed with arid mathematical theories bearing little or no relationship to reality."

It's time to normalize Karl Marx

There is absolute doubt.

On fact the only people who call him intellectual at all are anti intellectual fools.

Marx must be studied and remembered in the same way Hitler is.

As a testimont to manage abiliry to be stupid and evil

Marx was evil and his ideology is evil by design .

He knew nothing whatsoever about history or people or economics and was a terrible writer.

Once again every prediction he made has been irrefutably proven false.

With such a track record he cannot be honestly called intellectual.

He was a liar and dead beat who simply hated those who were better than he was.

Can you be a little more specific about his alleged failures? Is the following accurate:

It's time to normalize Karl Marx

"His labor theory of value (something he took from classical economist David Ricardo, mind you) is not strictly correct.

"However it is certainly true that many if not most workers are being exploited for profit, and that on the other hand many owners of capital receive immense income for which they did nothing. Indeed, all the income growth of the top 1 percent since 2000 has been capital income"

His value of theory of labor is not just slightly incorrect it is a massive failure. In fact it is a massive outright lie as the value of labor is strictly subjective.

The only reason or motive to even try and place a third party value on labor is to dictate to others what their labor is worth.

Whether one is in a capitalist system or a socialist system of a communist system one's labor is ALWAYS exploited.

The difference is that under capitalism you and you alone decide how it will be exploited and for what.

The owners of capital do more than the workers to receive the massive income which they earn

Yes it is true he NEVER held a job or collected a pay check or paid a bill or balanced a check book

He lived as a dead beat bum his entire life begging for handouts from others.

This is why he was MASSIVELY ignorant about economics and every treatise or idea he wrote about economics if absolutely wrong.

His ideas on economics are in fact the equivalent of a 600 lb morbidly obese person writing about diet and healthy living

His value of theory of labor is not just slightly incorrect it is a massive failure. In fact it is a massive outright lie as the value of labor is strictly subjective.
You seem confused between an individual's conception of labor value and society's assessment of the "socially necessary labor time" required to produce a commodity.

Labor theory of value - Wikipedia

"Contrary to popular belief Marx never used the term 'Labor theory of value' in any of his works but used the term Law of value,[41]

"Marx opposed 'ascribing a supernatural creative power to labor', arguing as such:

"Labor is not the source of all wealth. Nature is just as much a source of use values (and it is surely of such that material wealth consists!) as labor, which is itself only the manifestation of a force of nature, human labor power.[4"

When one cites society in that way they are seeking to rule over others

206 Civilians Killed by U.S. Led Airstrikes in Eastern Syria in November
Wrong.

The scientific dialectic view of history is abysmally dumb and leads to a prediction of the future which is absolutely proven false

Your examples are irrelevant as they have nothing to do with capitalism

Nothing he ever predicted came true every prediction he made was precisely 180 degrees the opposite.

You may disagree with what he had to say, but there's little doubt he's among the top ten public intellectuals of all time.

Marx never held a job, really?

Writings on the American Civil War

"Works of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels 1861

"Writings on the U.S. Civil War"

Introduction to the Revolutionary Philosophy of Marxism

"Most people would not dream of expressing an informed opinion about brain surgery or quantum mechanics without specialized knowledge of these fields, but matters seem to be quite different when it comes to Marxism. It seems that anyone can express an opinion about Marxism without having read a single line of what Marx and Engels actually wrote."

Sound like anyone you know?

What he and you miss is that society is incapable of assessing anything

When one cites society in that way they are seeking to rule over others

No

That is the constant defense of fools who have fallen for marxism.

They claim to be the better informed ones and the only ones who have read the scumbags works.

they are wrong and so are you

You are not better informed or enlightened and others have read the scumbags works and arrived at smarter conclusions

Society has no laws

He knew nothing whatsoever about history or people or economics and was a terrible writer.

Once again every prediction he made has been irrefutably proven false.

With such a track record he cannot be honestly called intellectual.
