Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Allen has died, the Dallas Cowboys announced on Monday. Allen, 52, died suddenly while in Mexico on vacation, according to the team.

Allen, who played 12 of his 14 NFL seasons with the Cowboys, was one of the best offensive linemen in league history. He was named a first-team NFL All-Pro seven times and was an 11-time Pro Bowler at guard and tackle. He helped the Cowboys win Super Bowl XXX in 1996

Oh man. That is terrible news. He was an exceptionally gifted player. One of those offensive linemen who stood out which is hard to do when you’re seldom on television by yourself.

Big industrial chemicals are equally yo blame but for some reason people think they should be protected.
 
Not just linemen but most hardcore pro athletes start getting enlarged heart muscles at a young age from the extreme workout schedules. As they age there is no way to keep up that pace and level of workouts and they suffer heart attacks and other complications, the latter from excessive steroid use and consumption of huge amounts of red meat. There might be some old vids still around from the early years of the cafeterias at NFL and AFL training camps that show the players carrying trays of huge steaks eating at their tables. Some of the linemen looked like they got an entire cow in front of them.
