I've seen talk in the past about a pole shift. and they say it has happened several times. I wonder if they were there to see it?

Lol..You obviously have not been to the coast lately. The beaches need to be renourished nearly every year in many areas, the water is lapping nearly over the sea walls, and flooding is so common is some coastal cities it is not even news anymore.

When I owned a Celestron 11" F10 Telescope with a Clock Drive, a scope that was designed for deep space astrophotography, I had to set the arms of scope pointing at the North Pole region ( Polaris) then with a special ocular moved it slightly to true north to account for the offset that way the image would stay in the middle of the image field of my SLR camera.

That offset is still the same today as it was 30 years ago.............

Well dumb fuck you can check it. All it takes is a transit and sone time at night to do a star shot. Spitting in the ocean? Know any thing about rotational force? What happens when you shift weight on a spinning g object. Yes the earthe wobbles known for a long time. How ever we have been tracking that wobble known as procession for a few thousand years. We can check those records to see if the wobble has changed. You may not be able to check it but most captains of a ship, a surveyor, or an astronomer Can check it. I get some time I will dig out my transit do a few star shots and check for my self.
