It could mean a lot of things, but in this case it meant to show strong support in numbers that citizens believed the election was a fraud as well. Of course it was meant to be peaceful....loud, but non-violent.

I don't know where you leftists got this notion you can read minds and only you can interpret what somebody says. If Trump wanted violence, he would not have offered to post the national guard there from the beginning of the day.

Now if we're going to read minds, it's my turn: Piglosi and the police Chief got word from the FBI that this incident was quite possible, and the reason they refused Trump's national guard offer is because they wanted the riot to happen. A riot would benefit the Democrat party greatly. That's why the police pulled back the barricades when the crowd started to push through.
