I know that attempts to find and sue state politicians were made in the panic of 1837 and again during reconstruction but is there a trail of default judgements against the culprits who took the money and ran? If so the Ds are in extremely deep doo-doo after the midterm elections because it is now much easier to track them down when the tax base bugs out from the tax increases. the bonded debt will still be due and covered by the 4th amendment's taking clause. How bad could this get?
