The Korean War happened because the US saved communism from Hitler. The Iranian Hostage Crisis happened because the US overthrew the government of Iran. The Russian invasion of Ukraine happened because the US overthrew the government of Ukraine. The perpetual turmoil in the Middle East is caused by the US supporting terrorists in countries that don't suck up to Israel. It's hard to find any US intervention into foreign affairs that didn't result in a disaster.
