Since November, the amount of natural gas arriving in Germany from Russia has plunged, driving prices through the roof and draining reserves. These are changes that Gazprom, Russia’s state-controlled energy behemoth, has been regularly pointing out.

“As much as 85 percent of the gas injected in Europe’s underground gas storage facilities last summer is already withdrawn,” Gazprom said on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, adding that “facilities in Germany and France are already two-thirds empty.”

If Trump had been reelected, Europe would be purchasing their oil and gas from us, there would be no Russian troops on the border of Ukraine, and Russians would be freezing their collective asses off.

Agreed, they shut down their nukes, their coal plants over green goofyness and now their governments are dancing like marionettes at the end of DC’s s strings rather than sensibly sourcing energy at the best price from the most reliable sources.

Funny thing is, America was the only nation meeting the Paris Climate Accords - while Trump was POTUS.

Two comments:

1. Everyone pays money for the own army. To think the armies of the countrirs who are part of the NATO are auxiliary troops of the USA is only an arrogant illusion of the USA. To think the USA wastes less money for their military structure when other countries spend more money for their armies is also only a delusion. And a warning: Everyone who attacks Germany in case of war - independent whether we spend 3 cent or 3000 trillion fantasillions for defense - takes the risk to be executed under the laws of war.

2. The pipeline Nord Stream 2 is only a pipleine. The attacks against this pipeline had been also always attacks exclusivelly against Germany from the USA and countries with unstable governments in the Eastern part of Europe, who trend to be tyrannies. The natural gas deliveries from Russia to Europe never had been under attack - only the natural gas deliveries from Russia to Germany had been under attack.
In this context used the new republican party under Donald Trump - ¿and George W. Bush? - a wide spread hate against Germany, which is specially produced from many films about Nazis - which you use to strengthen your proudness as a nation; Message: Americans are good, Germans are evil. This learned hate is a problem now in this time where nearly everyone thinks unreal.
So take all your soldiers and leave Germany. Also now in this situation. The USA is not a reliable partner and in case of a real "war" with Russia - whatever this could be - we don't need uncalculable US-American pseudo-enemies - ah sorry "allies" - in Germany. Don't forget to take your nukes and nuclear scrap with you, when you will leave Germany.

And a warning to all Ukrainians: Without any doubt you will lose a war with Russia - totally independent from the amount of weapons other nations deliver to you. Russia broke the international law by threatening the Ukraine with military power. But if Russia likes to be more criminal and likes to conquer your country then no one else is able to help you. Not the USA and also not Europe. If Russia will conquer your country then your first duty is to protect your own people's life and not to die in a senseless war. Your only chance to be free again will then be an asymetric war. The underground will be your only real chance to free your country again as far as I can see. Hopefully the Russian government will not be so stupid to do so. God may help everyone who will be able to stop this war before it will begin.
