why would you say the physical requirements for an infantry officer are more demanding than for the enlisted?

is an infantry officer required to carry more equipment?

They are required to be the model the lower level soldiers follow and look up to....to the point they will enter engage the enemy under heavy fire because the officer tells them they have to do it....

and obviously the only way that happens is if they can move 152lbs.

after all nobody would or could possibly take orders from someone that was not physically stronger than themselves.

that makes perfect sense now.

In theory you're absolutely correct. Unfortunately with the current Liberal/Feminist ideal of "Equality until it's hard or unpleasant for women" the media would play up the emotion card for the death of female soldiers in large numbers far more than male soldiers.

And that is why you don't understand the military......every man who makes it to the first day of Ranger School passes the same physical fitness test.......and then the real test begins....and most of them fail...tests of strength under high stress measure more than just strength, other wise all of those men would wear the RANGER tab....

We have physical differences. If those differences preclude the majority of women from being able to perform certain tasks, those tasks shouldn't continue to be necessary to attain the highest levels of military service. That's all. Figure out how.

Women serve in actual combat and are often just as good warriors as men. In fact, IS fighters are terrified of the Peshmerga women. IDF female soldiers have proven some of the fiercest fighters in the world.

In fact, having females in combat units has a very positive aspect. The men bust their butts to be just as good and even better than the women.

I have never had a problem serving with or under QUALIFIED women, enlisted and commissioned.
