Let's get rid of the CRS and the DOJ

There have already been a few threads debunking that nonsense.
I put up a link. Try that for me.

Sure thing.

We can start of with the fact that this is not "breaking news", nor was it ever kept a secret. Here's an article about it from last April: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2012...acekeepers

According to this article, CRS came to Sanford at the request of the Mayor and City Council:

City officials said when battle lines were drawn and dialogue broke down, they called in the conciliators.

"They work behind the scenes and in the trenches to make contact with the various organizations that are represented," Sanford's Community Development coordinator Andrew Thomas said. "They make the connections others in the community can't."

Here's another story on it: http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/07/04/34...maker.html

This is what Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett had to say about the CRS mediator:

“We had never been through something like this before. We didn’t know what was going to happen and if this thing was going to blow. Mr. Battles has a calming way about him. He was a voice of reason. He got everybody to the table.’’

Battles, southeastern regional director of the CRS, acted as a trusted third party, gathering opposing factions to address the simmering tension by developing reconciliation strategies. He worked with city and civic leaders to allow the protests, but in peaceful manner. He also worked with the city to create its nine-point plan that aims to improve race and police relations, and tapped into the city’s faith community to help guide the healing.

From my link....which is dated July 10, 2013

On April 15, 2012, during the height of the protests, the Orlando Sentinel reported, “They [the CRS] helped set up a meeting between the local NAACP and elected officials that led to the temporary resignation of police Chief Bill Lee according to Turner Clayton, Seminole County chapter president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.” The paper quoted the Rev. Valarie Houston, pastor of Allen Chapel AME Church, a focal point for protestors, as saying “They were there for us,” after a March 20 meeting with CRS agents.

Separately, in response to a Florida Sunshine Law request to the City of Sanford, Judicial Watch also obtained an audio recording of a “community meeting” held at Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford on April 19, 2012. The meeting, which led to the ouster of Sanford’s Police Chief Bill Lee, was scheduled after a group of college students calling themselves the “Dream Defenders” barricaded the entrance to the police department demanding Lee be fired. According to the Orlando Sentinel, DOJ employees with the CRS had arranged a 40-mile police escort for the students from Daytona Beach to Sanford.

“These documents detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.”

Sorry about that, I cut and paste a post of mine from somewhere else, and the links must have gotten messed up.

So far you have failed to show that anything in my link has been debunked.

Well, that's not true. Two major points from you linkhave been debunked:

1.) Obama didn't "send" anyone, the Mayor of Sanford requested help from CRS.

2.) Their purpose was not to organize protests against Zimmerman, they (or he) was there to help mediate between all of the groups, and make sure nothing got out of hand - and according to both the protesters AND the city of Sanford, he did a very good job.

See post #8.

The Orlando Sentinel didn't "lie", PJ Tattler just pulled a single line of the Sentinel article and ignored the rest. Read the article in context, it tells a very different story.

That's better...still doesn't explain the police escort from Daytona to Sanford.

Holder's DOJ Sets Up Email Account For Zimmerman Tips | NewsBusters

Why is Eric Holder so intent on getting at Zimmerman? This underlines my belief that the motives in DoJ in "helping" in the demonstrations were to help with the organization of anti-Zimmerman protestors.

Even though there may have been some effort to promote peaceful actions, the bias from DoJ is obvious to me.

Trayvon was a wayward young man. Records of his phone and Facebook conversations prove that without doubt to me. He was a punk thug headed for a life of crime. DoJ promoted and still promotes racism in this case.
