As I suggested with my earlier reply, we can agree on those sort of attempts to fix the problem, will fail.-- bans on 'assault weapons and 'high capacity' magazines -- all of which will fail at circuit level.
I'm suggesting that the only thing that can succeed are appeals from the hearts of parents who have been denied the lives of their children. However, we should be able to agree that the level of violence and slaughter by gun has yet to come anywhere close to the point at which the people will rise up and say that they've had enough.
Mass shooters at school are becoming more efficient on their methods and their choices of weapons used have become much, much more capable of killing in the short amount of time allotted by police capability to act.
