libbs claim that they are for freedom, then why are they trying to ban so many things

The 10 commandments have nothing to do with freedom as a citizen of the US
Other than that, I agree

maybe you think that because you dont know what reality is. Who's trying to ban guns? Any why do cons want to ban abortion if they are for freedom?
See how this works?

About the only people who buy off on the myth that only libs/progressives stand for the people and their freedom are the libs themselves. Most mature, thinking adults can see what the ultimate goal is here. I'm not sure that even after the total subjugation of the populace has been achieved that many of them will recognize what has happened.

Liberals ideas of Freedoms are based upon their own ideology, they aren't based on the same Freedoms our Founders saw fit to grant.

I don't necessarily disagree. However, if you substituted conservative for liberal, it would be just as true.

Don't forget about the other stuff "libbs" are trying to ban:

White People
Catholics
Christmas
The right to shoot children at school

large sodas, prayer in schools, the ten commandments, the right to work states, the pledge in public schools, the word terrorist, the right to life for the unborn, guns, conservative talk radio, smoking in private businesses......and the list goes on .

1. Soda ban guy is a Repug.
2. Separation of Church and State
3. Ditto, although who is trying to ban it?
4. Right to work states? Oh, you mean the right wing movement to eliminate unions so people will have to work for peanuts?
5. Has that gone away? BTW, did you know that a (gasp) socialist came up with the pledge?
6. The word terrorist? WTF are you talking about? Of course, after its extreme overuse during the Bush admin, it doesn't have quite the same power anymore.
7. Oh, you mean the right wing movement to take away a woman's right to her own body and reproductive freedom?
8. Ain't nobody commin' to get yer guns, Bubba.
9. No shortage of right wing bloviators on the airwaves. On the other hand, the right is trying to shut down NPR.
10. Smoking? Don't know if you can credit that to the left. It has been going away gradually for quite a while now.

Right back at you, Yidnar.

NPR is dying because nobody tunes in to their crap.

large sodas

I doubt that Michael Bloomberg would call himself a liberal, and neither would I.

prayer in schools

There isn't a ban. It can't be part of mandatory curriculum/participation, because that would violate the conscience of those who who do not believe in the form of prayer offered, whether they have no religion or a different religion (McCollum v. Board of Education). When I went to high school during the 1990's, there were religious clubs that were not prohibited, because participation was not mandatory. Nor was it mandatory at the baccalaureate mass.

the ten commandments

in public places? maintained by public funds? obvious.

the pledge in public schools

ditto

the word terrorist

Nonsense. I often use the word terrorist to describe people who want their puculiar religious laws to be a sstem of government (just as our terrorist enemies want theirs)

the right to life for the unborn

see above

I certainly don't support banning all guns. But the 2nd Amendment is not absolute (District of Columbia v. Heller)

conservative talk radio

um... what?

smoking in private businesses

Simple workplace health and safety. Go smoke outside.

liberals are the most intolerant people in America !! they do not accept the fact that people are individuals !! personal responsibility is anathema to them !! they want others to pay and give more but when it time for them to give or sacrifice it is a known fact that libbs give 30 % less to charity than their conservative counterparts in the same income bracket .

I wouldn't call bloomyburg a liberal or Republican, commie seems to fit

but they elected him, so they can live with his idiocy...he has crime and jobs all taken care of I guess, cigarettes and size of cups are now more important
