A charlatan who combined religion, socialism, liberation theology, homosexuality, race grievance and SJW all into one tasty Kool-Aid flavored suicidal mix.The politicos of San Francisco loved him, because he often rented out his "flock" for leftist political rallies and protests.

When his followers drank the Kool-Aid in their little socialist experiment in Guyana, over 300 children were murdered. Not all of the 600 remaining people went quietly though. Those who didn't partake were simply shot in the head.

I have no pity for those individuals. They "bought" what Jones was selling. That was their choice and, to their detriment, they made it. There is nobody to blame for that that but those individuals. They placed their trust in Jones, followed him to frigging Guyana, and there had their trust, apparently, betrayed.

Sorry, but I have no sympathy for folks who fail to exercise sage and due circumspection of "whatever" and who, as a result, willfully put themselves into positions from which there is no recourse. One does not have to intellectually indolent or ignorant, but one can choose to be so. Those who do so choose, must endure the consequence(s) of their choice to that effect.

This, on the other hand, is an instance of murder. I don't blame the people who didn't drink the Kool-Aid and who in turn were murdered. Those people may have been slow to see the error of their earlier decisions regarding their association with Jones, but they did apparently figure it out and got killed for having done.
