If Trump released his returns and they were picture perfect, it won't buy him or the Republicans one vote because nobody cares except the left who won't vote for him anyhow.

Back in 2012, Mr. Romney's were better than picture perfect. The man actually paid MORE than he was required to, and the left still criticized him for it.

The truth is that most people wouldn't understand Trump's phone book sized tax return at all, and they would just rely on the bullshit description of the return painted by the Fake News Media. Why should the president help them out in their efforts to denounce him?

Democrats aren't looking for cheating. They are looking for embarrassing or humiliating. They are looking for evidence that he's not as rich as he says he is. That he has made socially inappropriate donations. Anything that can be twisted into something that it isn't.

Trump received all his financing was from the Russians,
hasn't paid a dime in taxes in the past 15 years,
has income of less than $100,000 a year,
received government assistance like Medicaid,
received government benefits, or
received New York State assistance or tax breaks meant for the low income.

The New York State tax break is a real possibility because Trump did receive a tax break meant for low income individuals on one piece of real estate. So anything is possible in those tax returns.

At any rate, Trump's base will not give a damn what is in those tax returns. Only those who have not surrendered to Trump's low ethics will care.
