Limiting Tests is a Good Thing, Prevents Hysteria by Democrats

Liberals still thinking testing is the cure...

Do not waste your and everyone else's time taking a test if you have no symptoms. Potentially you will only get the death virus obsessing about the test.
It's not a cure, it just would have saved lives, by being able to identify the virus spread EARLY, and contain the infected thru quarantine.....

It would have saved at least half of those people at the nursing home in Seattle Washington that died, let alone some of the people that are going to die, would have shown to the financial world this country had a handle on what to do, took it seriously instead of the lies about it being a nothing burger by our President early on, and nstead we get bragging by our narcissistic leader on how great he was to keep it out of the USA....look how low our numbers are crap, compared to others, bulloney when it was Apples vs oranges....countries testing for the virus vs US, who were not.

No one in the world, and finance world believed him and his lies but his blind and deaf, followers.

The president is getting criticised because he's done a really crappie job in assuring us he and his response team had a handle on it.

They stopped testing in Sweden and I believe in UK, the testing doesn't accomplish much. If you are sick you know to stay home, if you aren't... you don't get a test in the first place.

I am sorry, the enemies of America did not "get Trump", again...
Such an immature Trumpian response Norman... No one is OUT TO GET Trump, he brought this on to himself through his lack of leadership and concern EARLY on.

That's nonsense, there are plenty of people that are entirely controlled by their hate of our great president.

Trump was one of the only adults in the room, who banned travel from China, while others were talking about how open borders can not be defeated. Excellent leadership, this is the president we need to lead America.

America is in good care... all Americans.
It definitely slowed New people infected coming in from China, and was a good move, but the virus was already here, and without testing, we didn't know where.... it may be just a hindsight criticism, but we better Damn well learn from our testing gap mistakes and take steps to correct it, before our next pandemic.

Chewy delivers to your door - I havent bought pet supplies in a retail store in several years.
Typical LW retard. Chewy doesn't deliver where I live. I'm happy that you don't have to drag your lazy ass out of the house.

We are having to shut every thing down, every where, because we are blind to where and who has the virus... without the massive testing.

I suppose those who test positive should be required to wear a yellow star or maybe a big, red letter "I" (infected). We should also arrange to have some kind of quarantine camp so all those who test positive can be isolated from the general population.

These followers of Donald McDonald are oblivious to what is going on in the world.

***Democrats in Congress and the media have selected the coronavirus as the next weapon to deploy against Trump and his administration. Their stated goal is to make this “Trump’s Katrina” and to possibly gin up enough hysteria and fear to negatively impact the up-to-now robust economy.***

Dems only want to play political games. There's no need to let them play those games.

limiting tests is not a good thing, silly one!

it's the blind leading the blind... and not having the testing early on is already the reason we will have many more deaths than if we had the tests to identify hot spots, and to quarantine, and where to have shut downs....

Right now test have to be limited until they can secure enough protective gear. Every person tested requires the person preforming the test to use up much need protective materials. If they just start testing everyone they will quickly run out of many protective items that we don't produce in enough numbers in the US.

I forgot about that part, which is a critical part of the equation.... hopefully we learn from all of this, and have protective gear stockpiled at the CDC in each state office, or have a contract with private entities to ramp up and produce here in the USA under emergency.....

Limiting tests promotes hysteria.

Testing healthy people is useless. A healthy person can test negative and an hour later be exposed and get sick. Test those showing symptoms to determine the cause of the symptoms. That makes sense but willy nilly testing everyone is silly.

In SK the people with symptoms being tested showed 96% didn't have COVID-19. Until the supply is worked out or an at home test is developed, massive testing isn't going to happen in the US

--------
"When you are tested -- and our results look very similar to South Korea now to date, where in South Korea, 96-plus percent of people with symptoms were negative -- that means also that they had respiratory symptoms. Let's remind all of us most respiratory diseases are contagious."

Hmmm, I was not under the impression that South Korea was ONLY testing those with respiratory symptoms, but testing anyone and everyone who wanted a test along with specific areas?

Yes, there are many that affect breathing, like the common cold...which is another corona virus strain, and the flu....

Limiting Tests is a Good Thing, Prevents Hysteria by Democrats

That's probably the dumbest thing I've heard so far this year - other than Trump lies. It's hard to manage a pandemic without knowing where the hot spots are. Trump has been working hard to limit testing to keep the numbers down.

I thought the same and it's still really not clear on if additional people were being tested and the 96%# is only those tested who showed respiratory symptoms.
