Listen to the exact words in the exact books Democrats want in our public school libraries

I'm sure they are... but the difference between a pedophile and gay person is the matter of CONSENT.

Adult gay people can consent. Children cannot.

People aren’t born pedophiles. What is it with you people that don’t understand the very simple and well established concept of conditioning. It is a real thing, which is exactly why we all argue about what we teach and expose our children to, especially at young ages.

1984 is a masterpiece, but good points otherwise.

I found it tedious and boring. The problem with it I had was that if I don't sympathize with the protagonist, I really can't enjoy the book.

Winston Smith is a pathetic human being, as written.

Then how do you explain how many pedophiles come from a religious background?

Shit, I was brought up Catholic. The one thing you learned early as a Catholic is you never wanted to be alone in a room with a priest. Two priests in my parish were accused of doing nasty stuff and the church paid out money for it. We had a football coach at my High School that showed gay porn to his team members. Now, THAT'S an example of grooming. Not the "Well, we told kids that there's nothing wrong with being gay, really." shit your sort goes on about.

It's great and very telling how many posters in this thread out themselves as perverted FREAKS.
:eusa_whistle:

:auiqs.jpg:

Your ignorance is as staggering as your belief you possess meaningful knowledge.

Truly spectacular.

:auiqs.jpg:

And yet it's sad too.

You choose to remain ignorant.

Ask yourself why.

Do learn.

Do post AFTER exploring whether what you believe is true or wildly false.

:auiqs.jpg:

Spectacular ignorance.

Epic.

:)

It is spectacular alright. You have no understanding of basic science or nature. You twist it to fit your narrative. Sad, but typical.

Your sexual repression is your own problem.

Homosexuality is very common in the animal kingdom.

Homophobia, however, is a uniquely human construct.

I don't care if you think homosexuality would be legal, it still doesn't make it unnatural.

Deviant is a religious pejorative, not a scientific assessment. You can't help but tell on yourself. 😄
It goes against nature period! Sexually deviant is what you are, religious or not it's a perversion of what is natural

It is a way of establishing dominance, not romantic in animals. My female lab used to hump a stuffed animal wolf that howled was she queer? :auiqs.jpg:
You people go to great lengths to explain and defend sexual perversion and deviancy

That BS homosexuality is common in the animal kingdom is ridiculous but they keep spouting it

The encounter was yet another data point in a growing understanding: Homosexual behavior is more common among nonhuman animals than scientists once acknowledged. By several estimates, researchers have observed such activity in more than 1,500 species. “These aren’t rare anomalies,” author Eliot Schrefer writes in Queer Ducks (and Other Animals), a young-adult book that drew national attention to the issue in 2022, including an appearance by Schrefer on The Daily Show. “An explosion of research over the past 20 years has shown significant amounts of same-sex sexual behavior throughout the animal kingdom,” he writes.

Scientists have long known that heterosexual behavior varies wildly among animals. Snowshoe hares breed promiscuously. Male elephant seals preside over harems of dozens of females. Female Galápagos hawks mate with multiple males, who take turns incubating the eggs and feeding the young.

Likewise, animals exhibit diverse same-sex behavior. Before splitting a honeycomb found together, female bonobos will rub genitals, which Durham University primatologist Zanna Clay says reduces tension and helps them share. Bonin flying foxes, a type of bat, curl up in same-sex clusters to keep warm during the mating season, and oral-genital stimulation is common in the male clusters. Male zebra finches form lifelong socially monogamous relationships that include courtship dances and sex, and that don’t break up when females become available. Female Laysan albatrosses in Hawai‘i share nests, mount each other sexually and raise their young together.

You almost get to a point. Romance is a purely human thing (usually cured by marriage!) Animals just have sex to get gratification, which happens to perpetuate the species.

The thing is, same-sex copulation is common in the animal kingdom.

We humans wrap a simple biological function in all this stuff about romance and morality and religion... this is kind of our hangup.

Complete BS

It would be impossible to do something that is outside your natural ability to do. That's just basic logic. If you can do it, then by practice and example, it is within your natural abilities to do.

Just a heads up - the above is a serious violation of forum rules.

It's a shame that the Bible - wildly inappropriate for under 12s - has so much negative influence in the lives of the vulnerable and mentally ill, don't you agree? :)
Not against the rules at all
The Bible is a guide for how to live your life and a historical document
